4 Home Remedies To Remove Corns On Your Feet

Corns usually develop on our feet, due to the fact that is the only part of our body in constant friction with the ground and this excessive friction causes corns to develop on the skin. It can be from either walking around or even standing somewhere for a long period of time that can cause this. Sometimes corns can also develop if your shoes do not suit you either they are too tight or they just don’t support your feet properly this can also be a cause for corns to develop on your feet.
Other sources state that some medical conditions can also be the cause of corn development, such as poor blood flow to the body and if you have diabetes then you are at a high risk of constantly developing corns on your face this can be extremely painful and irritating. The symptoms of corns are many, but the most common ones are that an effected skin becomes thick and hard, some bumps might also appear in the affected area. Other than that when pressing the area if it pains you or if you walk or stand it causes you discomfort then these are classic signs of corns.
Usually corns are not so persistent, simply eliminating any friction in that area and giving it time can cause the corns to heal on their own. There are also some medications that can be taken to rid you of any stubborn corns. Other than that there are several home remedies you can use to cure the corns, so let’s begin, here are some home remedies you can use to heal corns and rid your skin of them.

White Vinegar:
White vinegar is a tried and tested remedy that has been around for many years. If you are looking for a method that is guaranteed to remove the corns from the feet, then white vinegar is the way to go. The very high levels of acidity that can be found in the white vinegar will help soften the skin of the affected area and help remove the corns. Apart from its acidic nature white vinegar is also a very good anti-fungal and anti-bacterial this significantly reduces the chances of infection and other bacteria to settle in the affected area.
  • To use this method just mix ¼ vinegar to ¾ water and just dab the affected area
  • Then cover the entire area with a bandage
  • After around 8 to 10 hours remove the bandage and the clean the affected area.
Baking Soda:

If you are not baking anything in your home then try and using the baking soda to cure the corns on your feet. Baking soda can be used to help get rid of any dead skin that is covering the affected area, as it acts as a natural exfoliating agent which can be beneficial in the healing process. Same as vinegar, it also has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.
  • There is a very simple way for using baking soda, just add 2 – 4 tablespoons of it to warm water
  • Soak your feet in it for about 20 minutes
  • Then clean the area to remove dead skin.
